Amigo's markingsAmigo is a BLM mustang gelding with some striking facial markings. He has a slight "roman" nose, and he is long in the back and neck. His coat has the typical copper sheen of a sorrel. He is about 14 hands high. We hope to have him in prime condition by next spring.

Update, June, 2010
Amigo is being fostered by our neighbors, Bobby and Siobhon Hollowell. Thanks, Guys.

Update, September 24, 2009
Amigo has been gently brought under saddle and ridden. He hasn't a mean bone in his body, and other than shying away from unfamiliar "things," which his foundation training is elimin
ating, he has gentled right down and seems to enjoy our company. The above photos were taken the day he came to us. The below photos...well, they can speak for themselves.

Mi Amigo Amigo_winter

As can be seen in these photos, Amigo has put on some weight. His ribs have all but disappeared, and, like Lancer, he is thriving here.

Update: Amigo is being fostered by Bobby and Siobhan Hollowell. He will remain with them (next door) until they can provide a permanent residence for him. Thanks Guys!

Adoption fee: not available.

Note: We are willing to work with anyone who wishes to adopt a horse. Sponsorships can be considered monthly payments on adoption fees.

If you wish to help us save horses and be a part of our cause, you may...

...or you can come pick out a horse and take it home, or, if you love horses and want to have one, but have no place to keep one, you may sponsor one.  We have nine equine, four of which are prospects for adoption (placement). Several of our horses would be excellent choices for Fostering.

...and remember, it's all about the horses.
